Tour of University of Maryland Easter Shore (UMES) and Kristen's Lab

We spent some time on campus today at UMES where Kristen is working on her PhD in marine sciences. The campus is in Princess Anne on the Delmarva peninsula.

The folks toured the building where Kristen does her "mad scientist" work. We had to wait outside with Mike, but we DID almost get to chase the resident college cats hanging out in the lot where were waiting.
Mom went in that building, I know it!!

Then we all walked around the campus.

It was a beautiful day with a nice breeze, but a little warm for a mostly black dog covered in fur. I got a little warm and decided to walk in the shade for a bit.

We got a drink of water then we hung out in Kristen's office and got to meet some of her pals.
I'm cute, pet me.

Afterwards we went to a park and I barked at stuff moving in the bushes by the river and birds flying over while the folks ate lunch.

Dad and Kristen went on a brewery tour and we hang out with mom and got to bark at joggers and ducks passing by on the trail behind their apartment. It was definitely a "good dog" day!!
