Blue Ridge Parkway and North Carolina

We left Cookeville TN and drove through the Smokey Mountains to Ashville, NC. We got to hand out with the folks while they had lunch at Moe's BBQ.

After that dad spotted a brewery next door and of course had to sample the fares.

We spent some time driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway, but ended up in the clouds so couldn't see much. Dad took some cool shots though...

We only drove to Route 80 then drove back to I-40. On the way there was a very cool lake called Lake Tahoma.

Afterwards we headed toward the eastern seaboard as we are planning on being in Salisbury by Sunday night. We stopped in Oxford, NC for the night.
